The best 75 Hard tracker: app, paper or spreadsheet? Pick by how you fail

The best 75 Hard tracker is the one you will open every night. Paper and the free checklist on this site suit strict, minimal runs. A dedicated 75 Hard app matches the 75-day rules exactly. A 90-day challenge app such as Ninety suits you if you want custom daily rules, a streak and a way back after a slip.

Start with how you fail

Trackers do one job: make tomorrow's tick as easy as today's. Before you pick one, ask where your runs usually die.

  • You forget a task at night. You need a list you see at the right time. Paper or a phone reminder is enough.
  • You lose count. You need a day counter and a visible streak.
  • You miss a day and give up. You need a tracker that treats a slip as a decision, not as the end.
  • You like proof. You want photos and a timeline you can look back on.

What a 75 Hard tracker has to hold

From the rule set in our complete 75 Hard rules, a tracker should cover these every day:

  1. Diet with no cheat meal and no alcohol.
  2. Workout one, 45 minutes.
  3. Workout two, 45 minutes, outdoors.
  4. One gallon of water.
  5. Ten pages of non-fiction.
  6. A progress photo.

Plus a day counter, an honest record of misses and, if you care about it, a way to reset.

The four options

Paper and the free checklist

Honestly, paper is hard to beat for a pure 75 Hard run. The 75 Hard checklist lets you tick the day's tasks in your browser, print today's list or print a one-page 75-day sheet. The 75 Hard calculator shows today's day number and the date Day 75 lands on, and what that date becomes if you restart today. Nothing is sent anywhere; ticks stay in your browser.

A dedicated 75 Hard app

Search the App Store and you will find several apps made just for 75 Hard. As an example, the App Store listing for Transform 75: Hard Challenge, which we read on 21 October 2026, describes itself as a "75 hard & 75 soft days tracker" and lists daily tracking of progress, workouts, meals, hydration and mental tasks, daily progress photos, custom reminders, multiple attempts and resuming from your current point. It showed no ratings yet. We have not tested it, and we have not compared other apps, so check each listing for what it does today.

What to look for in any of them: does it match the exact rules you follow, does it keep a history of attempts, how does it handle a miss, and where does it store your photos.

A 90-day challenge app: Ninety

Ninety is our own app, so read this part with that in mind. It is a 90-day challenge, not a 75-day one, and it is not an official 75 Hard product. According to its App Store listing it is built on the same psychology as 75 Hard, with the structure to finish. What it does:

  • You choose daily disciplines from 99 options across 10 areas, and onboarding builds a plan from your goals and level. Its setup screenshots show a 75 Hard tier of six daily disciplines.
  • Day X / 90 and your current streak sit at the top of every day.
  • Hard rules break the streak when you slip. Soft rules just count toward today.
  • After three missed days in a row, it offers Pause and Resume (push your end date out and keep your story), Push Through or Start Over.
  • Photo proof for workouts, weekly progress photos and a Day 1 versus Day 90 archive.
  • Streak art for sharing and local notifications.
  • Everything stays on your device: the listing says no cloud sync and no servers.

It is for iPhone, in English. Plans and offers are shown in the store.

A five-minute setup that works with any tracker

  1. Write your rules in one sentence each, before Day 1.
  2. Put a daily alarm at the time you will do the check-in, not at bedtime.
  3. Decide in advance what a miss means: restart, pause or carry on.
  4. Take the Day 1 photo before you tick anything else.
  5. Tell one person your start date and your end date. The finish-date calculator gives you both.

Questions people ask

Is there an official 75 Hard app?

The official info page we could open does not point to one. Several independent apps on the App Store track 75 Hard and 75 Soft. Check the seller and the listing before you rely on one.

Can I track 75 Hard on paper?

Yes, and it suits the rules well. Six tick boxes a day for 75 days is all it takes. The checklist on this site prints on one page.

Does Ninety track a daily progress photo?

Its listing mentions photo proof for workouts and weekly progress photos, plus a Day 1 versus Day 90 archive. If you follow the daily photo rule strictly, take that photo in your camera as well.

Is Ninety an official 75 Hard tracker?

No. It is an independent 90-day challenge app from EASYTECH. Its listing says it is built on the same psychology as 75 Hard, but it is not 75 HARD and runs 90 days.
